Great Success in Table Tennis: Istanbul Championship
Our department’s research assistant Nihal Zuhal Kayalı demonstrated an excellent performance in the Public Sports Games held between October 7–21, 2025, becoming the Istanbul champion in table tennis.
Serving as the team captain, Kayalı represented the Beykoz District Governorate and led the women’s table tennis team to victory. Notably, three of the four team members are from the Turkish-German University, making the success even more meaningful.
With this remarkable result, the team qualified for the regional finals to be held in Sakarya.
