International Success from Our Department at ICRERA 2025
Our department members and students made significant scientific contributions at the 14th International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Applications (ICRERA 2025) held between October 27–30, 2025.

Artificial Intelligence Based Forest Fire Early Warning System in Turkey and the Mediterranean Basin: Analysis of Economic and Ecological Losses and Land Use Changes
Among 517 papers from 64 countries, our student Öykü Süzgün’s research was selected as the Second-Best Paper of the conference. The study was derived from her INF401 Graduation Project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Murat Beken.
